Whether you have just decided to trust Jesus, or you are still thinking it through and have questions, these things will help you know him better.

Talk to God

Prayer is simply talking with God. You do not need special words or a special place. Tell him what you are thankful for, what worries you, and what you are wondering about, the way you would talk to a father who loves you.

Read the Bible

The Bible is God’s word. If you are new to it, start with the Gospel of John. Read a chapter a day, and as you read, ask: who is Jesus, and what has he done for me?

Find a church

Following Jesus is not meant to be done alone. Look for a church that teaches the Bible faithfully, where you can worship, learn and care for one another with other Christians. If you are not sure where to start, ask us — we would be glad to help.
